Pros: nice scent, work quickly to clear up chapped lips, moisturizes well Cons: Can be messy, lid is hard to take off tin
I am fortunate in that I don't get chapped lips very often. However, when I do get them, I want to be prepared and not have to go hunting for a good product to help them. Fortunately, I've found a good reliable product that not only helps cure dry, ...
Pros: lovely color and scent, really works! Cons: it will melt if it gets hot
My youngest daughter is a December baby. Right after she was born, she started to get dry and cracked lips that were so deep she literally bled each time she ate and the central crack appeared to be both the length and depth of her lower lip. She would ...
Pros: Moisturizes my lips like none other, very inexpensive, nice light scent Cons: None, not a one
My favorite lip product has been in my family for years, even though I never even knew it. Many years ago, my great-grandpa owned a small general store in our home county. It's not in business anymore, hasn't been since I have been alive, although my ...

After often reading about Smith's Rosebud Salve, I have always wanted to try it. So when our local Sephora opened up, I quickly grabbed a 8.00CAD, 0.8oz tin. More about Rosebud Perfume Smith's Rosebud Salve This stuff has been around ...
Pros: Smells nice, moisturizing, light texture with a hint of pink and shine Cons: Packaging and can wear off fast
First of all, let me just admit that I am a lip balm/gloss ADDICT. I have a massive collection of them in my bathroom drawer. More than 95% of them I used only once and should probably throw away. Rosebud is the only lip balm I've used consistantly. I ...

I read US Weekly religiously and was thrilled when I learned that all these famous singers/actresses use the Rosebud Salve lip balm because it was something I can actually afford. I figured if all these high paid entertainers use this lip balm when they ...
Pros: Extremely mousturizing, slick on lips, lasts forever Cons: Sticky on skin, tin
Since the age of 11 I've constantly been using up money buying a gazillion different glosses and balms. I don't have particularly chapped lips or a need for them, but I can't stand a day with dry lips. Smith's Rosebud Salve is truely the ...
Pros: Wonderful scent, feel, and packaging.
Cons: None
I've read about this item for years but didn't have access to it until recently . I LOVE this balm. I love the little vintage style tin it comes in, the wonderful soft rose scent, and especially, how it lasts on my lips. It isn't super-sticky but yet is very moist and stays put forever! It makes my mouth look like a little kid's. I expect this winter I will try it on the chapped areas I tend to get at the corners of my eyes.
Stops blemishes in their tracks! by vthodges ,Oct 31 '05
Pros: Great acne killer, smells great, lasts a long time, good for rough cuticles, lip balm Cons: a little greasy (petroleum based)
I have tried everything and I do mean everything for acne. This product is a godsend! I only wear it at night b/c it's a bit too greasy looking for daytime wear. By the next morning any blemishes that were there are GONE!!! Makes my skin nice and smooth, too. Smells great! I also use it on my rough cuticles and as a lip balm. I can't say enough positive things about Smith's Rosebud Salve!!!!!

Pros: Content lasts a long time, not waxy, pretty tin pot, works! Cons: None
I first learned about Smith's Rosebud Salve from InStyle Magazine.
I've used it since 2001 and have never tried a better lip balm. I also use it on dry patches of skin. When I have a cold, my nose doesn't get red from blowing it all the time because I put Rosebud Salve on it!
Pros: Does double-duty as a quick eyebrow groomer. Cons: Don't leave in a hot car - it will melt!
I first picked up this product while waiting in line at Sephora. It has quickly become a must-have in my beauty collection. The blue and white tin is adorable packaging, and on the back it lists all of it's "healing powers". I mainly use it on my lips. It has a nice subtle rose scent, leaves a sheer, moisturizing gloss and is perfect for everyday. A little goes a long way, the tin will last you a long time!
